Happy Saturday Kings and Queens. I hope you all are enjoying the holiday season. I sure am. As you all know 2018 is almost here. It's crazy how time flies. Now is the time to reflect on how amazing 2017 was and all the lessons it has thought us.
I'm thankful and grateful for it all. The good, bad and ugly. 2017 was the year of so much growth for me; that alone makes me excited to enter 2018 a better version of myself.
I am literally walking into the new year like I am in this look. Happy and slaying as always! This casual chic look is so warm, comfy and fashion forward for these cold winter days. I love a good fedora or floppy hat to add some sass to my look. This gray fur brooch floppy hat is the perfect accent for a chic finish. Stripes and sweaters are the perfect dynamic duo. This cross-body striped triangle shaped sweater is the statement piece in my look. I love the play on colors in the three tone solids flattering my skin and adding a burst of color to my look. I paired the sweater with a black bodysuit and black knee high sneaker boots to keep my look clean and the focus on the sweater.
I have heard the saying "Black is slimming". Not that I need it but I am definitely not complaining. This bodysuit is so soft and fits like a glove to add to it's black slenderizing magic. A definite favorite of mine. Anything to keep my toes warm and heels comfortable enough to stand in all day is a must have. These knee high sneaker boots are perfect for that; not only because they are super cute; they also have chunky heels and ball support platforms which are a heel lover's best friend. They work hand in hand to balance your body weight evenly throughout the shoe. I usually prefer gold accessories with my look but I chose to use silver accessories for this look to compliment more of the cool tones in the look and the season.
